Catherine Grgicak; Jennifer Sheehan and Lauren Alfonse will present three models/softwares developed by LFTDI:
Catherine presents the ReSOLVIt package, which is a tool to optimize and validate forensic DNA signal in a time-efficient manner. The aim is to relieve laboratories of some of the cost and labor associated with validation.
Jennifer presents her work on the modeling of double-back stutter and effects on mixture interpretation.
Lauren will present the details of her very popular CleanIt program, which automatically filters common artifacts such as pull-up, complex pull-up and minus A.
