NGS and Forensics

One of the primary goals of a forensic scientist is to collect data that will best discriminate forensically relevant hypotheses. To that end, we not only test to evaluate if new technologies are fit-for-purpose, but we engineer data-generating processes and NGS laboratory treatments that are known to produce the most informative data for the given technology.

In this project we extend the remit of our ‘lab optimizer’ ReSOLVIt^TM to improve forensic NGS pipelines with minimal validation time.
