LFTDI’s mission is to develop new technologies that enhance the knowledge and understanding of criminal justice policy and practice . We build national and international multi-disciplinary collaborations consisting of faculty and students.

We support the education and training of students enrolled in Rutgers’ Biological, Chemical and Computational degree programs, and who are interested in tackling some of the most challenging forensic problems.
